Good with dogs?: I have not been around any dogs whilst in foster, so I am not sure how I would go – but I think No.
Good with children?: I could be ok with older children who can respect my boundaries.

Hi, I’m Katya 🐾

I’m a gentle girl who just needs a little time to feel safe. New people and places can feel a bit scary at first but if you can give me a few days to settle into my new home and learn that I’m safe, I’ll slowly relax and start to build trust with you.

I loved having my sister Koshka and other foster siblings around, so I think I would like to have a fur friend in my furever home. Although I may also be okay as an only cat once I’ve settled in and bonded with my new family. I don’t think I’d enjoy living with a dog, and I’d prefer a quieter home without small children.

Some of my favourite things are cooked chicken, cardboard boxes, and finding cosy places to relax. I do try to be brave and accept pats, but sometimes at the very last second I get nervous and dash away. I’m not being naughty — I’m just still learning that people can be kind and safe.

I’m looking for a patient, gentle person or family who will use soft voices, offer yummy meals, and understand if I don’t stay around for pats every time. With kindness and patience, I know I’ll continue to grow into a lovely companion and loyal friend.

Adoption appointments: Saturday 13th June between 9am -midday
Time and day of appointment will depend on which kitten(s). However, if you cannot make that timeframe, please let us know and we will see if we can try and work out an alternative time over the weekend.
