Good with other cats?: I have been good with the other foster kittens, but I would need to be introduced to other cats.
Good with dogs?: I have not been around any dogs whilst in foster, so I am not sure how I would go.
Good with children?: I would need a quiet house, so adult only or older children might be ok.
Siblings: Eski and Me – Gus
Bio:
Hi, I’m Gus! I’m a gorgeous smoky grey boy who came into care with my siblings and have been hanging out in foster care with my brother. We’re good mates, but we’re not a bonded pair, so we’re happy to find our own homes.
I’m still figuring out this whole human thing. I’m a pretty good-natured, independent boy and I’m quite happy doing my own thing, but secretly I quite like having my person nearby. I’m just not always sure what I’m supposed to do about it!
During the day, you’ll usually find me sitting on the windowsill watching the birds outside, checking out YouTube Cat TV, or stretched out enjoying a nice sunny spot. Come evening, I’m much more interested in getting up and about. I love a good game of chase with my brother and I’m also a fan of feather toys and balls.
I do enjoy being stroked, although I’m still working out how to ask for attention when I want it. I’m definitely not a fan of being picked up, but I’m happy to sit beside you on the sofa and I’m slowly getting the hang of sitting on laps too.
I’m still quite easily spooked by new things, unfamiliar noises and changes, so I’m looking for an adult-only, quieter home where I can take my time settling in and building my confidence. I’ll need someone who understands that I might not be the cat who runs straight over for cuddles on day one.
I’m also not particularly food motivated. I’m perfectly happy with my dry Black Hawk kitten food, the occasional treat and, of course, my Churu puree treat stick at bedtime.
I’m a lovely independent wee boy who just needs someone willing to give me the time and space to discover that humans really aren’t so bad after all. ❤️
