Good with other cats?: I might possibly be ok with a calm confident cat, who can help me come out of my shell.
Good with dogs?: I have not been around any dogs whilst in foster, but I don’t think I would like one in my furever home.
Good with children?: I would need a quiet, calm household – no small, fast moving children.

Bio:
Hello, I’m Tova! ❤️
I’m a pretty tabby and white fluffy teenage girl who hasn’t had the easiest start in life. I’m still figuring out this whole human thing and learning that people might not be quite as scary as I once thought.
My foster parents are doing their best to show me love, but I’m still a very shy girl who likes to keep herself tucked away somewhere safe. My favourite hiding spots are under blankets or pillows, where my foster parents can gently sneak in some pats and head massages. I’m not quite ready to venture out into the big, wide world just yet, but I’m taking things one little step at a time.
Food is definitely one of the things I enjoy! I’m quite happy when my foster family brings out the Oscars wet food and biscuits, so at least they know one way to make me happy.
I’m looking for a quiet, indoor home with kind, patient people who understand that I won’t settle in overnight. I’ll need time to get used to my new surroundings and learn that I’m safe. I may spend a while hiding away, so my new family will need to be comfortable giving me space while gently encouraging me to build my confidence.
My foster parents think I would benefit from living separately from my sister, as we can pick up on each other’s fears. Having a home of my own could give me the opportunity to work things out at my own pace and start building trust without worrying about how my sister is feeling, too.
I know I have a bit of a journey ahead of me, and I’ll need someone who understands that progress might come in tiny steps. But those little moments of trust will be worth celebrating, and I hope that one day I’ll feel safe enough to show more of the girl hiding beneath all that fluff.
If you have a gentle heart, a quiet home and plenty of patience to spare, perhaps you could be the person I’ve been waiting for. ❤️
