Bio:

Hi, I’m Harley 🐾
I’ve come such a long way since being in foster care. I used to be really scared of people, but now I’m learning that humans can be pretty wonderful — especially when they play with me and give me scratches! I absolutely love a good butt scratch and will happily chase just about anything that moves.

I’m becoming more adventurous and curious about the world around me, but I’m still a little skittish at times and not very keen on being picked up just yet. My fur is super soft, and when I’m in the mood for affection, I can be very smoochy and loving. I’ll need a patient family who will let me settle in at my own pace and build confidence in my own time. Please don’t take it personally if I run away at first — I’m still learning to feel brave and safe.

I have a brother called Maple, and I’d love to go to my forever home with him if possible because we’re very close, though I’d likely be okay on my own too.

I’m not too sure how I’d feel about dogs or very young children. Because I can be quite skittish, I’d probably do best in a quieter home with older children who understand that I don’t like being picked up and will respect my space.
