Good with dogs?: I have not met any dogs yet, and I don’t think I would like one in my furever home.

Hi, I’m Monroe 🤍

I’m an 18-week-old long-haired tabby girl who’s come an incredibly long way. When I first arrived in foster care, I was very frightened of people. Thanks to weeks of patient handling, cosy blanket cuddles, and lots of love, I’ve realised people aren’t so scary after all.

These days I’ll happily sit beside you, enjoy gentle cuddles once I’m settled, purr away, love tummy rubs, and take treats straight from your hand. I can still be a little cautious at first, but curiosity (and food!) usually wins me over. Sometimes I’ll circle around your feet because I want to be close, even if I’m not quite ready to be picked up.

I’ll need a patient family who understands that I may spend my first few days hiding while I settle in. Once I know I’m safe, you’ll discover what a loving companion I can be.

I haven’t met dogs or young children and would be happiest in a quieter home. Although Presley is my sister, I don’t need to be adopted with her—I just need someone willing to give me the time and love I deserve.

Adoption appointments: Saturday 8th August between 9am – midday
Time and day of appointment will depend on which kitten(s). However, if you cannot make that timeframe, please let us know and we will see if we can try and work out an alternative time over the weekend.
