Bio:
Hi, my name is Puma 🐾
I’m a quiet, gentle girl who is still learning that humans can be safe and kind. You could say I’m currently enrolled in my “Humans Are Awesome” classes, and while I haven’t quite graduated yet, I’m making progress every day.
I had a difficult start to life, which means I can be very shy and nervous. My favourite place is often the safety of my hammock, where I can watch the world go by and feel secure. While I’m not quite ready for cuddles and being wrapped up in blankets, I am brave enough to enjoy licking tasty treats from your fingers and spending time near the people I trust.
Being picked up can still be scary for me, and sometimes I shake when I’m feeling overwhelmed. What I need most is a patient, understanding family who will let me move at my own pace and celebrate the little victories along the way.
Deep down, I’m a sweet girl who wants to learn how to let love into my life. With kindness, patience, and a calm home, I believe I’ll continue to grow in confidence and discover just how wonderful being part of a family can be.
Could you be the special person willing to take a chance on me?
