Good with dogs?: I have not been around any dogs whilst in foster, so I’m not sure how I would go.
Good with children?: I might be ok with older, calm children but I would not do well with younger, fast moving children.

Hi, I’m Georgie! 💙

I’m a timid wee boy who is still learning that humans are pretty great. I’ve had a hard start in life, so I’ll need a little time and patience to settle into a new routine and feel safe with my people.

I’m not particularly keen on being picked up, and I’m still figuring out why everyone thinks they can just swoop me up and shower me with love! But once I’m safely in your arms, I’m actually quite happy to stay there for ages. I enjoy gentle strokes and scratches under my chin and around my ears — I’m just not quite used to all the attention yet. The more I experience it, the more comfortable and confident I’m becoming.

When I first arrive in my new home, I’ll need some space to settle, but not too much! Timid boys like me benefit from plenty of gentle people time so I can learn that I’m part of the family and get used to having my humans around.

I’m also quite fascinated by watching cat games on a phone or tablet, so I’ll happily sit and watch what you’re up to.

I’ve recently started sleeping out in the open in the cats’ room, which is a big step for me. When my foster mum walks in, I’m still sometimes torn between staying to see what she’s bringing me or making a quick dash to my hiding spot! But every day I’m getting a little braver.

I’m looking for someone patient and kind who will give me the time I need to build my confidence. I may take a little while to blossom, but I’m making progress every day — and I’m hoping my furever family will be the ones to help me discover just how wonderful being loved can be. 🐾

Adoption appointments: Saturday 22nd August, between 9am- midday
Time and day of appointment will depend on which kitten(s). However, if you cannot make that timeframe, please let us know and we will see if we can try and work out an alternative time over the weekend.
