Hi, I’m Kalani 🐾
I’m the youngest of three kittens, and I make up for my smaller size by using my voice—I have lots of conversations with my foster mum!
I absolutely LOVE humans and can be a bit of a magnet when it comes to attention. I’m looking for a furever home where I can have a human best friend who will let me be the centre of attention—or even better, multiple humans to shower me with love and pats.
I can be a little impatient when I want attention. If my foster mum is busy doing something important (like unloading the dishwasher), I may just run up her leg to remind her that I exist 😹 Sometimes she just scoops me up and carries on with her chores while I supervise from her arms.
My foster mum says I have an “instant purr” and that it doesn’t take much to make me happy. I really do adore my people. One of my favourite places to sit is up high on someone’s shoulder—apparently I make a very good winter scarf.
My absolute favourite toy is the feather wand. Even when there are no humans around to play with me, I’ll grab the feathers and drag the wand all around the house myself. My siblings sometimes try to join in, but I growl to let them know the feathers are mine. I’m happy to share the other toys, like ping pong balls, but the feather wand is very serious business.
I’m a confident, affectionate little character with lots of love, purrs, and entertainment to offer my future family. I’ve been in foster with my siblings, older timid cats, and a resident Labrador, so I’m used to both feline and doggy company, and while I haven’t met children yet, I’d likely be okay with them too—though little ones might be surprised by my habit of climbing legs when I want attention 😹🐾
Adoption appointments: Saturday 16th May between 9:30am-11am
Time and day of appointment will depend on which kitten(s). However, if you cannot make that timeframe, please let us know and we will see if we can try and work out an alternative time over the weekend.
